I'm not an Apple fanboy or anything, but I don't think Apple is given enough credit sometimes.
I can't disagree with their customer service. They replaced my phone three times within the first month that I got it. The screen kept getting messed up, so every time I went in they were like, "Well we can just give you a new phone, sir." I was like, "Sounds good bro."

Apple are the ones who let you install Windows on a Mac but prevent you from installing OS X on non-Mac computers, so they can market that as an advantage.

Don't know how to look at that. Their either marketing geniuses, or their jerks. Or both...

There's always a way, and it doesn't really effect those that find that way.
But I guess it comes down to the fact that they don't support it, and that's the kind of company they are.

I thinks it's difficult to ask someone what to buy. Especially something like this, because in the end it comes down to personal bias and opionion. You need to decide what exactly you want and need in a laptop and pick the one that best suits those wants and needs.

They don't actively prevent you, but they don't support it either. So basically, you can do it if you want, but don't come crying to Apple if it stops working. Quite a fair stance imho.

My best option right now, seems to be getting a Macbook Pro. The more I think about it, the more it seems like that'd be the best choice for me.

Leaving to get my MBP here in a few minutes. I'm so excited I'm shouting it from the rooftops (ok, not quite...)
Remind me in a few weeks, and I'll say whether or not it was worth it. For nearly 1.5k, it better be worth it

So was it worth it?
