I had a lucid dream this morning. I woke up about three times before I woke up properly. Inception!

I can't stand that movie. I actually had a lucid Dream on Saturday. I realized that I was in a dream but I couldn't change what I was dreaming about.

Are you sure you weren't imagining lucidity? Like, you dreamed that you were lucid but you actually weren't lucid, it was just dream you believing you were.

Of the Heart, of the Soul, and of the Cross // PM Dawn
It's like classic era-rap, but not at all what you would expect. Sort of a mystical and psychedelic feel to it. Y'all should check it out

Yep. Another similar dream happened right before Christmas break ended, when I dreamed that I was walking away from my school with a confident posture.

I think that this counts as one of the worst nightmares ever.

How's that a nightmare?

Yeah, I don't understand. It was pretty mellow.

Okay, so I just dreamed that I pulled up my iPhone's screen protector a little bit so I could press it back down harder because it's already peeling. Of course, it didn't work and it remained inadhesive.

Baha, you sure that was a dream?

Yep. Another similar dream happened right before Christmas break ended, when I dreamed that I was walking away from my school with a confident posture.

Ooh, I just bought In the Court of the Crimson King! It was really hard to find but so far positive feelings on first two listens.

It's tough to get into the habit, but when you do finally get into it, it's definitely worth it. I haven't done it in a couple of years, but I got into the groove of it at one point and it allowed me to remember and experience my dreams so much more vividly.

Only anime I've seen is Death Note, but it was a darn good anime.

I seem to remember there was a good topic on old misc about dreams. Let's relive the past: tell us all of your mushiest, scariest, happiest, and strangest dreams.

That sounds interesting. More study music?

Nope, sunshine indie pop. An excerpt:

Since this is no longer connected with Scratch, I propose that we get rid of the "on-topic" requirement for posts. Misc. is about just hanging out and discussing things and if a certain discussion topic strays from the original post's topic, I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. And likely, it won't really disrupt flow of conversation because typically, any particular topic will slowly veer "off-topic". But just because it's off-topic, doesn't mean that it's not worthwhile. It's just how like in real life people typically don't talk about the same thing for hours and hours: instead, they let the conversation ebb and flow and one topic will usually lead to another.

I think this will make the forums far more interesting and foster greater discussion.

Of course, getting rid of this doesn't mean I'm advocating for allowing spam or posts with no purpose whatsoever. Obviously, I think we should continue the current policy on those types of posts.

I don't regularly watch too many Youtubers, but recently I've been watching tons of Good Mythical Morning and Angry Video Game Nerd. Who do you watch?

#16 Re: Miscellaneous » Misc IRC/Espernet » 2015-01-20 23:29:15

I mean I just think it's a nicer alternative to Skype. Obviously, it's not like a huge necessity or anything. But it probably won't work if most people don't use it so it's pretty much up to whether the community wants it or not. Which is of course implying that we already have a community

Go to http://esper.net/publicirc.php and connect to #ScratchMisc

I think this is a better alternative to Skype because you don't need to download an application to use it and it probably cooperates better with a lot of people. Mods contact me to get opped
